Founded in 2006 by Ennio Triggiani (Full Professor of EU Law, University of Bari) and Ugo Villani (Full Professor of International Law, University of Bari), Studi sull'integrazione europea aims to provide valuable insights into the many issues concerning European integration.

The Review has published articles by distinguished authors; among them, the President Emeritus of the Italian Republic, Hon. Giorgio Napolitano, who introduced the Review in Rome just days before his election.

While founded by Jurists, the Review's scope is interdisciplinary, welcoming contributions from political scientists, diplomats, economists, historians, philosophers and linguists, reflecting the complexity of European integration.

The journal fosters dialogue with scholars across Europe and beyond, having already hosted articles by Spanish, German and American academics, and serves as an invaluable resource for young scholars engaging with EU studies.
